Paul Taylor is an acclaimed storyteller and didjeridoo player who performs throughout the US. Don Spencer is one of Australia's most recognized children's performers, of TV series "Play School" fame.

Paul Taylor's has traveled across oceans and continents, building bridges of cultural understanding each step of the way. With songs and tales about Aborigines in Australia and cowboys in the Wild West of the United States, Taylor's work helps children and adults worldwide feel part of the same great story. Now Cooee, Taylor's fourth album, brings the troubadour's work back home to Aussie audiences.

With Cooee, Taylor creates a true Australia/U.S. collaboration. Rich with songs and stories from both cultures, the album features celebrated Aussie children's musician Don Spencer, and the artful production of Russ Hopkins and Steve Eulberg of Kiva Records in Fort Collins, Colorado, U.S.

Walkabout is a musical adventure of the American travels of Aussie storyteller & didjeridoo player Paul Taylor. Highlights of this journey include moments from Canyon De Chelly to the Hopi Rez in Arizona, to the live at Avogadro's in Fort Collins, Colorado. From 1995-99, Paul had been on extensive WALKABOUT, performing all over the US, particularly to the children. This music is inspired by the magic of ply, what children do best. For children, play is very serious business. It is fundamentally human. This vision has become a reality with Russ Hopkins. He is the substance of this work. Jerry Palmer has iced the cake with his genius.

The didjeridoo or yidaki is an ancient Aboriginal musical instrument from the tropical north of Australia. It is generally a branch of a tree eaten out by termites.
